EID HOLIDAY
The school will be closed from Friday, September 3rd to Monday September 13th for Eid holiday. School will resume on Tuesday, September 14th.
DARUL ARQAM EID PARTY
Our annual Eid party will be held on Thursday, September 16th. We still have many students who have not brought their $5 for lunch. If we do not receive all the money required to purchase lunch, we will be forced to cancel lunch altogether. Thursday, September 2nd, will be the last day that we will be accepting money for lunch. Please send this $5 (CASH ONLY) inside an envelope with your child's name marked on the outside and send it to your child's homeroom teacher.
P.T.A. SPONSORS COMMUNITY IFTAR
Darul Arqam's PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) will be sponsoring iftar for the community on Thursday, September 2nd at Masjid Bilal (Adel Rd.) Assistant Principal Ahmar Naeem will give a brief presentation about the upcoming student electives program. Catering will be provided by King's Chicken. Parents and students are encouraged to come and join us
PICK-UP/PARKING
Starting Monday, September 20th, we will have the following times to pick up your child from school:

If your child does not have siblings enrolled in the school, please pick up your child at 3:15pm SHARP; otherwise, be here at 3:30pm. We are adjusting the timings to reduce the number of vehicles in the pick-up line.
NO PARKING AND LEAVING YOUR VEHICLE UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME IN THE PARKING/FIRE LANE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL.

PAKISTAN FLOOD VICTIMS
Our hardworking students made 1,000 boxes packed with various items that were purchased with donations collected by the Masjid Bilal community for victims of the most recent floods in Pakistan.
WINTER JACKETS
Because winter is approaching we would like to remind parents that when they go to purchase a jacket, coat, or sweater for their child, it must be navy blue in color and without any emblems or embroidery patches. School-approved jackets/sweaters are available here.
